You may have noticed, but I dropped this chapter earlier than our expected deadline tomorrow because I have work. About page 23 I'd say she's not even using "gargling as an excuse to not apologize", she's using it as a jab at "you're a filthy boy" (and a secondary jab that "actually you should apologize to me for having sullied my mouth and/or maiden lips")
