Note, nonna in italian means grandmother, it is very likely that the corean expression comes from the italian word, hence, "older lady"

Please look up the etymology before you end up putting forth mishegas.

The Korean term is completely native to Korea (Middle Korean from a lost aboriginal Korean language). The Italian term is completely Indo-European (and ultimately comes from children's babble). There's
zero relation, they just happen to sound similar.
