Well.
Up until this chapter I thought this was going to be a satire of "yandere male lead" rofans, but that shouting sequence seems like the author is trying to make Ludwig a legitimate danger instead of just playing pure comedy the whole way through.
On the other hand, we've been handed the "it's not really him, he's actually cuuuuursed!" escape card. So I predict a happy ending when they solve/break whatever it is that compels him to kill.
