These kinda stories are always so unbelievably frustrating for me. The Protag actually just asked about that eye mark and just got randomly attacked and had to defend himself while gravely injured. And they all just blame the protag for being dangerous. No one mentions that part in this meeting, not even the protag himself... Just why? You were clearly attacked by a core member and you don't even mention it, you aren't even angry. It was literally just a completely unnecessary event in the story and the author forgot about it 5 minutes after writing that part.
