Love how Borak just does not question Useu is holding a girl in a leash in the middle of the street. And how Eleonora forgets about their cover when Popuri tries to be a bit more direct

I hope the story highlights Useu’s flaws more, because at the moment he has had troubles here and there, but has also been able to overcome any hurdles thrown at him pretty much by his own engineering.

Failure is what builds characters, and I don’t expect him to fully lose cause the nature of the competition is that only one can win, but at least fall into a situation where he has no choice but to rely completely on others.

The author did a great job in showing how trauma can lead you to isolate yourself and hide all vulnerabilities in Corpse Knight, and I believe they can do so here again.
