I have a feeling she simply knows he'll be back soon (perhaps once again on the Emperor's orders), so it's a given they'll meet again. Why would she keep this info to herself though... well, maybe she doesn't want to overwhelm him or something.

And I'm 90% sure he's the ML, @LupusVir, but so far the most interesting story bits were their palace shenanigans. I really, really, REALLY fear it might devolve into this generic "cold northern duke southern admiral" romance if he keeps being close, so the longer they stay apart, the better.
