Hot take, not all of these stories need romance in them. I loved this one, like hell yeah, shove those "nobles" hypocrisy in their face, and then all of a sudden, some guy appears like "Umm, actually, I'm also exactly like the FL, and I'm a perfect match for her, so I'll send her a marriage request once the situation is over, just so we can slap a romance tag on this." His presence is unneeded.
Agree. In this series, if the male lead haven't showed up pre "engagement breaking up" scene, then he is 90% not needed.
But then the dude here actually change things for better (country wise) so I can excuse him.

Anyway, love this chapter. The debate, ettiquete really makes such different. The story even foreshadows her friends leaving with her.

This is one of my favorite chapters. It's a great example of toying with the expectations of what normally falls under villainess roles, and falls into a believable handling of classic roles. It's also a great example of a female lead with agency, and whom acts with grace when looking at what general fantasy classism would entail. I don't think the male lead was strictly necessary here, but it also added a little more to the conclusion. I think this is one of the best stories in the anthology.

After quite a few bad chapters, finally a good one. Loved that it has a plot, the theme, the art and the MC. It looks historically accurate too (I think)!!
