Now that I think about it. Since the day of his regression... He was taking in only main characters in series, movie and acting stage.

hopefully he doesn't outshine/overpower the protag lol, since he was good at being the 'serial killer that was a priest villain protag' but since it's 'just him' and no cheat skill/status screen, he should be able to hold back/'tone it down' versus some aura or so that steals the spotlight from everyone lol
well i'm sure he would've been fine with supporting roles eventually but i imagine he aimed for 'good roles' just to have a decent pay check to support his mother , as well as series he was familiar with

I don't think he "aimed" for good roles or at least most of them. Its either he was scouted or in case of "Confession of a Priest" he wanted them to make the production successful.
Well maybe he did aimed for those lead roles because just like Writer Ko said in this chapter... he took the roles to challenge himself.

What kind of shit author trying to pull out?? Hwawon is better actor then yeongguk for main character in movie?? Isn’t that crazy?? Next year Hwawon get best actor award and yeongguk will get best supporter award??? Then why you don’t make it befor, why now after so many success?? And Media, and other people will say will Hwawon is better actor then Yeongguk… Yeongguk get supporter character because Hwawon take way main character role from him… If want to improve his acting he shouldn’t take more challenging role?? That’s really disappointing… If Yeongguk don’t act better then Hwawon I will drop this manga immediately…
