the character designs in this chapter were so good that i almost wanted to read dolo's destiny pill! there's an accompanying version of this strip drawn by the dolo's destiny pill artist (and the art is super cute!), but i'm not sure if anyone's interested or if we're planning on translating it.

my miscellaneous tl/cultural note for this chapter - the literal translation of the line 'i feel like i just ate a lemon!' is closer to 'in this moment, i am a lemon spirit!' 柠檬精 ningmeng jing is a really popular chinese meme that basically means 'lemon spirit,' and it's used to describe someone who's feeling 'sour' because they're jealous - especially when they're watching public displays of affection. i see this trope in like 90% of romance manhua, haha.
