I felt the same way during the first read. This a "reboot/retelling" of the Authors original series on another website. It felt a bit more fleshed out (on top of there being slightly more chapters). What makes it honestly more confusing, is that they are going to stop working on this "new" one and continue with the old. But they're still making new updates/chapters to this series.....when they plan on going back to the old one to continue...
