She looks older than 8 here, honestly. Her proportions seem less chibi and round than they usually are. Eko seems older too. I would put them both as maybe 3~5 years older? Tonari seems about that much older than her child form as well.

I completely forgot that the entire thing was that Fushi wanted to create a safe world for his friends to grow old and die in... I guess part of the realization was the world is never truly safe what with the Knockers and all? But he also let Black Hood/Satoru live out his life and die since that's what he wanted to do... I guess we also don't know what happened in the centuries between the last scene with them and Doll waking up. I hope they explain things soon.

from what I can conclude, it seems like she has a form of dwarfism where her body doesn't grow any bigger. We did see that she got old in the "present day" where she couldnt get a relationship because she permanently just looked like a child, this was right before we got into the future ark.

yeah i just reread that chapter yesterday, it was just a dream with fushi realizing his friends will eventually move on from him and having a crisis about it, the adult march still had the head of child march even

Dying didn't mean staying dead in their case, and it doesn't mean leaving Fushi. They did grow old and die.

Then it's very possible they followed Fushi around another few decades to centuries, just like before, until the wanted to be living again to get involved with society and Fushi's troubles.

Fushi mentioned that nobody wanted to be with her because of how she looked, its likely that shes actually a dwarf lol
