I think I know what could happen, what would the ending look like. In this chapter two things happen: First a human who recently died says that looking at the effect his life had on others made him want to give life another chance. Secondly, a living organism (Nono) says she would like a "place" to live with those she loved. Well, paired with the overall situation of conflict between making material life and a different intangible realm of existence, what to do?

What if we are going to get how that issue is solved in giving the souls of the dead to the knockers? That is if they allow the attempt of human life to continue. What do we get there? Well, we get heaven and Samsara - where if whoever is in knocker-heaven wants to go back and have an incarnation to experiment "what is perceived to be pain but that is worth something, because that is the experience of being alive; positive and negative" that "soul" can go and do it. But it's resting place is knocker-heaven.

Edit: This is because, in the end, we are watching a world that doesn't have that death and rebirth engine. There's material existence holding up the soul in that plane and we have the subtle plane that has no incarnated form, they are divided and lack each other.
