I did theorize about this earlier chapters ago. Rather than matter-first type, more like an indiscriminate spatial-first type.
Her "teleportation" has always felt like scooping up an area and just... away with it... somewhere. And her 3D geometrical limitation seems to hinder a higher evaluation of her abilities and probs why she ain't part of the "higher floors" of espers in Academity City. Not only that, she has a "weak" inner ear and avoids self-teleportation because of it. Seems like a factor of being sensitive to Barometric Pressure changes and her "teleportation" factors "pressure" a lot too.
Can we safely assume her teleportation is akin to a warp-drive, wormhole-ish type of spatial manipulation?
