No wonder she didn't want Touma to come with Index. And I was just becoming less suspicious of her too because of the carriage scene. oh well.
On another note, Touma fumble the ball so many times during the chase. You could say it was his fault they succeeded.
We can also assume Touma was talking to the criminal girl entirely in English since there's no way she knows Japanese. Honestly I find very hard to believe he can speak well enough to have that conversation at such speed and in that situation.
