I went through this manga before, now skim reading it ---
Honestly, I have no idea how this never bothered me before: the MC constantly tries to keep themselves hidden, prevent data from leaking about ANYTHING that he does, and now -- that includes the usefulness of "kicks".
What an obnoxious MC, isn't he? Why does he care if anyone talks about how useful "kicks" can be? Is he playing competitively? No, he sure doesn't. So it doesn't affect him at all.
I figure at this point, that it is well established that the MC is a walking contradiction, probably as a theme. But it really rubs me the wrong way this time around. I'll just stop here.
