I think what was meant was that she told him that she would have been a hero if she had died in that forest. Probably?

I've tolerated it up to this point mainly because the fighting style of using armiger is similar to ffxv with the warp strike but the writing is really bad. The moment he starts blurting out like a dumbass about what's going to happen and act TOO much on it..expecting people(in the story to GET IT) is not smooth. Time to drop.
