And you thought it'd be wrapped up in one more chapter.

(Well, it kinda is. But also not quite.)

FWIW, re: the "omg are they still doing this" stuff, again, I'm sort of... a little from Column A, a little from Column B? I do think this strip is very obviously by Some Pixiv Rando who's basically ticking off the "And now we need the bit where they do this, and now the bit where they do this..." boxes one after the other, and I can't blame people for getting frustrated with it. At the same time, I find the character moments a lot more real than a bunch of other romance series I've read (straight, gay, whatever) where people talk through their problems like some kind of idealised version of therapy. I like stories where emotional stuff gets messy and all the characters do some amount of stupid stuff/let their impulses drive them to make very bad decisions, not just the token one who's got issues/needs fixing.

That being said, anyone who does get frustrated by this, take it from me (and anyone else who's read ahead in the raws)... there's more of that stuff to come, so be warned. ;) Other stuff too! But yeah, people keep putting their foot in it.

Oh, and one other thing which is kinda related; I skip some of the names in dialogue because I know Japanese doesn't work like English and you don't say somebody's name every time you talk to them, but I've left in virtually every time Asuna says "Misono-san" because it felt sort of significant that this is a girl who's so insecure/thinks so little of herself she still can't bring herself to call her girlfriend by her given name. If that's been confusing for anybody, or feels like a dumb choice, by all means let me know.

I really appreciate your work on this! Thank you so much.

IMO Asuna’s anxiety/insecurity in the recent chapters are valid. Misono identified as straight before and has this “being normal” issue. It’s natural for Asuna to overthink these things. I think the fact that she had a long time crush on Misono is a factor too. Asuna basically got the girl she never thought she’ll have, so there’s probably this part of her that’s in denial of their relationship. And probably why she likes asking Misono if she loves her, because she needs the validation to remind herself that their relationship is real, that Misono indeed loves her.

There’s also the fact that Asuna hasn’t come out and shared her relationship with Misono to her friends yet. Maybe that also adds up to her anxiety because if she faces problems like what she did in the recent chapters, she’ll just bottle it all up.

So I’m not really surprised if similar “issues” will come later on. I find it quite realistic and I like it. Hopefully they will always resolve it nicely.

I guess more drama will come up coz I know Asuna's anxiety is still there hoping their relationship last, though and I understand where her trust issues came from.

I think shes mad about whatever the guy who confessed to her said, not mad at asuna
Could be because of that one dude she's friends with who liked her, we've seen her get jealous because of him before
