the casual "clear a skyscraper in one leap" really does cement the duality of Kino as a character. Can't even imagine ordering a drink from a coffee shop without also envisioning her stuttering leading to viral social humiliation, but she'll grab her friend and clear a towering building without a second thought just because "the view might be nice".
She's clearly a bit ditzy, brought on by her lack of perspective in how she should be versus how she thinks she should be, but I also like that the question of "what even is 'normal'?" was broached this early in. Because it really is all a matter of perspective, and does technically exist independently of what is comfortable for the individual.

So hopefully she finds what's comfortable for her and lets her be happy, if nothing else.

Kino's character is really showing, with how she won't hesitate about helping friends but still can't order Frappe-Frappu-whatever the trendy drink now is.

Also I just realized it, but...

Uso = lies
Yama = Mountain

Usoyama = Mountain of Lies

Of course the kanji could be different, it's just a funsies.

Kinoko being a being of pure innocence and joy is hilarious. Her relationship with Usoyama is great as well; I like to call relationships like this clown to slightly-less-of-a-clown communication.
