I ran out of feelsticide. I can't stop thinking the thought contructs Asihta-chan and Black Ashita are sentient.

Just when I thought this hitted the feels with the previous chapter, it hitted even harder in this one, the fact that everyone got it's proper ending and how everything wrapped up in this chapter is the cherry on top of an already fantastic cake. I said it already and I'll say it again, 10/10, this was one hell of a ride. A beautiful manga that now holds a dear place in my heart. Absolutely loved this. Standing ovation for the author.

So basically, everyone had an Ashita inside which is their true tsundere-free self would be their best version of themselves if they were to let it out.
Seriously though, this was a great manga.

I love how this was a deconstruction of both the maniac pixie dream girl trope and the tsundere. It initially seems like the kind of story where a man is brought out of depression by a perfect, free spirited ray of sunshine who’s life revolves around him. But as the story goes on we learn about the real Ashita, a seemingly bold girl with a devil may care attitude, who used a tough attitude to cover up her insecurity.

Koichi was just along for the ride while Ashita went through character development. Like the exact opposite of a maniac pixie dream girl (chill realist dream boy?) who fulfilled the same role as his counterpart.
