The Headphones Gang seem to be more like moderators than researchers, trying to make sure everything goes the way it should. Based on this and Glasses Headphones' face on page five, I think that they might be taking issue with something in the priest's story. Maybe the priest is supposed to believe his family's been here the whole time?

Either way, Mr. Priest is probably going to either die or end up being an ally. We'll just have to see.

She said she was checking the water quality for parasites and at the festival chapter, the guy with glasses commented something like "Ah, so some people are already developing antibodies!". I think this "researcher" is just finding it strange that these people who are native to this place are no longer "blind"~
