okay so what even was the point of making the setting a catholic missionary school? I don't expect manga characters to be religious (they never are) but for them both to not be in this setting can only be described as weird and I see no point in doing so. Why not just make it a normal highschool setting with MC playing a piano in an abandoned classroom and the FL a normal singer like how it normally goes at that point?

I knew two Jewish kids that attended a Catholic parochial high school in my town. It was an exceptionally good school and ~1/3 the cost of the town's other private high school.
