The curse of ending right when the couple gets together... a story like this could have told more through their interactions in the future. Still, I suppose it was always a coming-of-age story about learning what it means to love someone. While there was more that could have been said, I understand choosing to leave it here.

But fr I just wanted one chaste kiss on the lips. Why does the lord our god look down upon us in his hatred? What hubris has brought forth this divine punishment?

At least it wasn't a tragedy ending, I had a feeling it was going down that road from chapter one. Glad to be surprised. This one really had something meaningful to say. I can tell I'm going to be thinking about and coming back to it.

it feels oddly cursed (blursed?) that he's so tall now, for we've known him all this time to be quite short before growth spurt. But I suppose that's good.

Tho I do say I thought it'd be interesting, story-wise, to see how he'd deal with his height problem if he STAYED relatively short, when it comes to his basketball dream. Oddly convenient that he just...grew that much, RIGHT AT THE END, he wasn't even surprised and even had ANY doubt, like he fully expected it xD.

How tall IS he now I wonder, he does look slightly shorter than his brother tho.

I mean, I'm aware of growth spurts, but it's not guaranteed at all xD, all a roll of a dice even if you got tall-ass parents. There are plenty of dudes who are stunted even if they got parents who are tall af, and same goes with the opposite. Even if you take supplements, drink a lot of milk, excercice and sleep properly, etc...it's still not guaranteed, it'll help you fs, but doesn't mean you'll be guaranteed to become Lebron James. Not everyone's that lucky xD.

Growth spurt is one thing, I just think it's weird that bro just simply never had a single shred of doubt and that it's like he fully expected to get that tall? Maybe the manga just didn't explore into that, but I suppose it's not fully related to the story so whatever. It feels like a bit of a cop-out tho.
