Yes, I agree that is weird for both side. But what I'm saying is generally speaking, when you look at society especially in asia(i'm asian so I can only speak for this side), is that, in an even scenario where both do these things in vice versa, surrounding people will by default, think that the girl is just being playful and cute from an onlooker's perspective, but for the guys, people will automatically assume he is harassing the female. Let's be real here. Even if it's not everybody maybe it varies from some countries but realistically speaking this is still the norm.
