Mutsumi is gonna use herself up making gunpowder and gasoline. With Kogane putting her all into her training, I can't help but wonder if Kogane will end up taking up her father's role in the village. Especially if Goro becomes the guardian. Thanks as always to sarusa and thumper.

Yeah, this is all pretty weird, I think you can mostly file under 'the lore is not that hard' for this manga. But we've seen that their transformations kind of age along with them. And in this case 'it's just good for the story so'.
