I mean I get it... but if he lies to her it's just going to cause more trouble later. At least he's losing weight...?
Fruit = insect...

Okay 🤷‍♂️
Well, it's true if you leave the fruit out long enough in warm weather. :sick:
Seeing Yotsuyu's honest attempt at making a snack for him was really sweet (no pun intended).
I can only hope she at least saw something about how humans can eat certain bugs, and didn't just assume he could eat whatever that is. Otherwise it's not a very careful attempt.
Y'all should go back and read the first chapter again. It's really funny.
It is, but is there something about this chapter in particular that makes you say that?

As always, the mangaka keeps the character details on point. Kogane grew up in a (somewhat) secularized monster fox village familiar with human foodstuffs and put in a lot of work during her human form training to learn to eat human foods unpalatable to foxes. Yotsuyu lived a completely isolated existence after she became a monster spider and is still learning how to live with others and how others are different from herself. It's a nice contrast presented in this chapter.
it's not helping that her beloved doesn't exactly teach her... some foods aren't commonly for "human consumption"

I'm not sure why, but after I read this chapter, I was wondering if Goro-san was suicidal in the first chapter before meeting her. So I went back to check. And it was really funny. And I thought "others might also enjoy re-reading this". And then I encouraged others to do so.

It is funny going back and seeing how different the art is, and just how slapstick the whole thing was.
