Probably for now, I'm guessing they'll sacrifice her later to whatever curse they were talking about last chapter.
The thing I'm wondering about is how much the grandma knows, she seems to really believe that the teacher is a monster according to what she's been told. Another thing, is she really the grandmother? Teacher seems to believe she should be dead according to page 9.
