Female lead plays/fools around with guys - No wedding ending (Instead you get a ten year promise?)
- I hate all the characters except maybe the lead male but he's the most likable character
Sure she said she loves our male lead at one point but doesn't stay by his side and instead go to another guy's side constantly? Fuck her. I'm not saying that she has to be the type that sticks to him like glue or anything but not going around and playing with other guys... It just got worse when the male lead's brother died... That really made me want to stop reading since it leaves a nasty mark on the male lead making people compare him more/look at him wrong/worse?
I really appreciate the intense effort the translators put into this. It's a fun and beautiful story populated almost exclusively with likeable characters. (Harada is my favorite! He's the best!) If you just started watching Mix, you're in the right place; you'll really enjoy this.
P.S. All the other comments on this manga I've seen so far are from someone who really hates Minami. I don't understand what his problem is. Don't be discouraged from reading this by his venom.
and settle thing between the three will make it better. That is the whole dynamic. How about
only injured and second year he still can comeback
@GruntZone360 you are only look at one view and miss the point. he giving up at the beginning. "I wan to talk good about you time to time too"" Even when her and brother want him to, like joining the baseball team, he act all do stupid thing because he have no confident. he have no ball to step in, to take the chance to be some thing of her. she love him, but she isn't his. She not his mother. She have her life and dream to work on it too while Mc fooling around (and depend on his brother to do that dream). All she can do is root for him even when he go different patch (still planing to marry him). That already too good to be true. Face the reality. If you expect some waifu give them in for the mc and have nothing better to do all day, that won't happen. She don't even know what he would do. what if he have someone else. She face the possibility it all go in vain too.
all that thing she do are just normal. There is chapter it she question "what is our relationship" it clearly show thing between them was hold off on the MC side. It always is.
I love Adachi's character writing throughout his series from the realistic way that the characters mature and grow to the realistic and quiet way he handles grief. I read this manga in highschool and ended up aging with the characters.
I didn't imagine I would relate to the feeling of loss that the characters go through involving a circle of all young people (even the deceased), but in the summer of 2023 one of my friends had passed away. The way that Kazuya passes on so quietly, but is still between them. Adachi represents the grief so well. It's just the way that life goes on.
The evolution of the series is good too. It quietly matures from a competition of two boys trying to "win the girl" the dream of Koushien "for the sake of Minami!" and the "love tension of childhood friends!.. What will happen?!" to Minami and Tatsuya being able to silently acknowledge their love and closeness to one another. I think at the begining I would have expected that Tatsuya ends up winning Koushien in an epic motivational spree for the love of Minami and the memory of his brother, but by the end I am very glad Tatsuya evolved into his own person with his own interests and motivations.
I love Adachi's way of writing things that seem to open with a bang and then fizzle out. From his comedy sketches to his character drama. It really shines showing off a way of life in this series. Adachi not needing to use words to express extreme emotions in slice of life drama as well is admirable. I enjoy the simplicity of even drawing characters without mouths sometimes which amplifies this effect. Except for their eyes, Adachi seems to make characters stare and look a lot, as if to put emphasis on being there and being able to see one another without words. This kind of writing is my favorite takeaway from Adachi. Anyway I kind of just wanted to write this cuz I once wrote a far longer insight like this in some YouTube comments or something but deleted it. Ballz
