He is not, he is Oni from his Mom side, remember his dad say in his backstory back in chapter 50 that if Momo or Oni has child it has 50% Chance of being Oni or Momo

It has been mentioned many, many times. In the introduction arc, Mudano said that Jin's father is a Momo. In the Nerima arc, we got a whole flashback of Jin telling how his father killed his mother and sister because they were Oni. Jin's father pushed Jin to his limit to test whether he was Momo or Oni because when an Oni and a Momo have offsprings, 50% chance they turn out to be either Momo or Oni. Both Jin and his sister turned out to be Oni. His mother didn't know that she was an Oni until she awoken.

I'm pretty sure his dad didn't kill jin's parents but only blames himself for it. I don't understand how he would know that his mom was an oni if she herself didn't know. he only could've known for sure after death since oni's horns appear for a second post mortem.

I predict this is a sasuke - itachi moment between jin and his dad
