Remix I am pretty sure Kiichi is not blood related to Oton or Kiryu if you read Tough the manga before this they go into more detail about it in the later chapters. I don't think Kiryu cares about Ryusei much or at all unlike his daughter. He prob just wants to see his full potential and reap the rewards later or maybe he is sincere about his intentions and wants humans to remain on top and not the goverments/ai stuff.

Ryusei is kind of a wasted character, seeing him improve overtime was cool but then he suddenly get 15 powerups and is a bad guy with no credibility.

Nah, Kiichi isn't Seiko's biological son, his dad was Kakugo (the guy he fought at the end of Tough).
