Pretty neat seeing an explanation to something that happened in a different Touhou manga.

Still, you'd think Kasen would be a bit more cautious of damaging the Great Hakurei Barrier considering she's one of the sages.

Also I love how Sanae thinks of Pikachu when told about a thunder beast. It's fun seeing her thinking like someone from the outside world.

I love how true ZUN stays to the characterization he made up for all the characters back then. It's nice to see that Sanae acts the same as she did in FS. I also believe that she would make a better self-insert for the Reader as Marisa ever did. Her reaction to a dragon and giant Eagle picking up Reimu was also pretty darn great.
Glad she got more screentime here.

This chapter shocked me. And as expected (as of what i read thus far, 6 chapters in), Kasen proved her abundant knowledge (if you want to get warm, you run the risk of getting burned). I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT WE GOT AN EXPLANATION REGARDING THE FAIRIES OF LIGHT TREE HOUSE!

So it wasn't the dragon god huh...
