I can only reinforce how fucking much it must suck to put your everything into a craft, yevote your whole life that youve spent in misery into it, only to be easily beaten in a short span of time by a person who seemingly doesnt even try.
Having the goal youre passionate to the point lf obsession about being taken by someone who appars overall ambivalent would drive me mad, even if said person was on their deathbed.
Perhaps especially if they are on their deathbed cause you know what people will say after she passes. "Oh, while meiko was active she could never beat, only now that shes dead she can be number 1".
That would follow her for her entire career, a hollow victory, unable to ever truly achieve your dream.

i mean basically going thru a terminal illness/treatment probably affects the way you see life so maybe if that gets 'reflected' thru the clothes she chooses ppl will be impressed by it (even if it comes off as 'not trying' by Arus lol)

i mean if she dies soon (tho considering it has a girls love tag there'll be some kinda kiss or romantic entanglement before hand), that'd def put her in the spotlight more as a headline "Actress dies of illness" it'd be esp nasty if photographers on set 'leaked' some pics they took together of glaring/her clearly hating her and make her come off even worse reputation wise like "despite working at the same company she still pushed/competed hard against her" or comments like "There's no way she didn't know/maybe she tried to get her to die faster" or some bs tabloid stuff XP

That would be very sad. Imagine arus falling for meiko and taking care of her as well as she can, seeing her girlfriend die in her arms and THEN seeing tabloids that it was all her fault that meiko died. So vile
