I've been integrating the stuff they say outside the bubbles inside the speech bubbles, so you're not missing anything.

@Hikotoshi What I mean is I can't tell what's inside bubble dialog and what is outside bubble dialog. On page 10: "Look, I'll just dry it by doing this!" "I'm really lucky it's such good weather today!" So I see outside the bubble a short line of text and an exclamation point, and a long line of text and an exclamation point. To me, this seems like this is all outside text and not inside text.

I tried incorporating a more conclusive approach to out of bubble text in chapter 8 by mixing up panel notes and redrawing, please let me know if it is more enjoyable this way!

please consider using a more easily readable font for the main bubbles. augie is cute but a more standard font flows better whilst reading.

dunno if you’re using photoshop, but if so, you can always use a text outline, ie if your text is black, outline it with a white outer glow or stroke. that way you can get away with not redrawing the text outside the bubble if you wanna avoid redrawing too much, like me (tho im just being lazy).
