This arc was surprisingly lacklustre I must confess, it felt like it was going places and then it turns out there’s like no payoff at all.

Also Hosen has to be secretly quite wealth because in this arc he literally paid for the lottery ticket out of his own pocket. Not to mention he draws high quality porn pictures which have always been in demand and has a meagre subsistence living. I wouldn’t be surprised if he lives in the slums as a matter of choice rather than necessity as he must be embarrassed about his day job. Back in the second arc when we saw what passed for his art shop/exhibition the complete lack of not only lewd or risqué drawings but women altogether. I mean sure it’s probably a front for what is out the back because porn has been technically illegal in Japan since forever but I think he also embarrassed about it all, especially since he has no sexual desires.

I agree...this arc wasn't really the best. Some laughs here and there, but nothing really great. All to introduce an important villain, I guess.

Next arc will certainly be more interesting I think.
