Cute that everything worked out. The two new characters are like fighting siblings that care about each other. So much wordplay though. You did a good job trying to make it clear what each interpretation of tiger in the rain could mean so I didn't feel lost! Thanks as always!

While true, it’s more likely they will be forgotten instead. The author general modus operandi is that each arc is a self contained story with any character killed off having first be introduced in the same arc. Now this is a really short so this could be a way to introduce new characters into the mix but their slapstick portrayal leads me to believe they being position for comic relief rather than a gruesome fate.
