I'm hoping that the she was the person in that video. I think it's more interesting to have a character that has done wrong and regrets it than one who is just unfortunate and has wrongness thrust upon them.

Side note... I can't help but notice the status page now says publication completed... Did we get the axe? I don't feel like we're anywhere near a conclusion.

I didn't noticed! I looked on author's twitter now and yes it recently ended, but at chapter 53. So at least there a lot of chapters pending.

After Miyamori faints, Ichika confronts the press to state how inconsiderate they were to reveal that video with others present instead of doing it privately.

After Miyamori wakes up, thinking Ichika is disgusted by her from her previous reaction in the bathroom,
Ichika denies it and explains her empathy, believing the video was fake, and how she supports her...
which sounds almost exactly like how her fake best friend lied to her face.
(The bully who's the cause of all this).

Which causes Miyamori to believe she's the one who did all this.
After going on a fit of rage, criticizing Ichika as a fake good girl, screaming her to leave, she yells "I hate you!"
Which literally freezes Ichika into an unconscious emotional state for a second.

After Kozuki interjects, and the nurse has calmed Miyamori down,
Ichika wonders why she blanked out, but is determined to save Miyamori, because she believes that girl wasn't her in that video.

[Btw, knowing the manga ended so soon now in 53 chapters is worrying.
Hopefully the pacing and development isn't lackluster, like how flawed, forced and disappointing Blue Hearts was,
which was 64 chapters long, with an underdeveloped beginning, finale and epilogue.]
