So, it's true what someone said a long time ago: the author really doesn't want to kill off his villains but keeps recycling them as opponents. I suppose in a manner of speaking it's fair because the main characters aren't, obviously, dying either. However, that's kind of troublesome for the larger story if nothing makes a difference.
Also, isn't Suzu's assistant one of the leaks? He attacked Suzu during the fight, giving the creep face the chance he needed to get a punch home. Pretty weird behavior if he was fully on Suzu's side. The fact the creep face didn't kill or even seriously wound him is pretty telling.
