I kind of liked this chapter? Yes with question marks, it finally answered somestuff but the MC only realising something may have possessed/cursed the Hero into her attitude now seems beyond farfetched. If you know someone and then suddenly they change in a world of sword and sorcery clearly thats a massive red flag.
