TBH i don't see the endgame of this manga but my thoughts are...
1. MC fights his former party
2. Former party accepts the new MC and befriended the demons
But if number 2 is the route then what's next?? Another Demon faction pops up that is hell-bent to exterminate humanity and MC with his former party and demon friends unite to defeat the Evil Demon faction?

My guess is, Hero meets the MC, insists that they are mind controlled into serving the demons, and returns home to collect himself before launching a full on attack. MC makes his way through the party members, convincing them that he's fully sane and what they're doing is wrong, until he confronts Hero on the battlefield
