Yeah, his utter lack of self-esteem is really annoying by now. Can't I ask for some teeny tiny bit of character growth for the protagonist, please? Thank goodness Milim has a better brain than he does, almost wasting all this opportunity. I did not imagine I'd ever see too much humility as a bad thing but here we are.

I'm really loving the running joke of him turning to ask Milim for her input, only to see her stuffing her face with some treat or another.
