So his old party only had one rotten apple in it, everyone else didn't really seem to mind him and the girls in particular actually seemed reasonable. Just once I'd like to see a story where it's that one bad apple who gets kicked out of the party. Childhood friend is a little harsh, but he's not openly hostile like that blowhard knight.
