Between Lord Cecilum, the guildleader, and the merchant guy (60% of the country is nothing to sneeze at), our boy here is building up a pretty sizeable political power base with which they can defend themselves from the hero party's nonsense. Love to see it.
Also, it's hilarious that Cecilum has already figured out the best way to get the party to agree to things: Bribe Milim with food and drink, and the interplay between her and Randall's personalities will take care of the rest.
