But, hey, Patreon! Ko-fi! We're shit, but still, give us money!

Try visiting a dictionary site some time, you morons, and learn where and where not to line-break words. They're free!

I'm pretty sure dictionary sites don't tell you shit-all about hyphenating words (but they might tell you that's the word you're looking for, instead of "linebreaking" words). You're not wrong with the intent of your complaint, but at least try not making worse mistakes in the text of said complaint.

For the typesetter:
You are only supposed to hyphenate words between syllables. So with the previous examples, valid places for hyphens would be un-der-stood, al-right, and to-mor-row.

Man, I can't stand the way the MC is drawn most of the time. The way the eyes are foreshortened in a gross way, he just looks so appealing 75% of the time.
I get that the author probably just wants to get to drawing the chicks as quickly as possible, but I'm so damn sick of male MCs that are drawn so hideously. :qq:

He needs to add that guild staff member to his harem. But he won't. Because every harem series with an adventurer's guild usually ends up having a cute staff member that the MC regularly interacts with but it never goes anywhere. The only series I can remember where it does isn't a harem and is entirely about the secret mutual crushes between the hero MC and the beautiful guild clerk. I can't remember its name but it's the one where everyone has gem/precious stone names and he also ends up adopting a dragon as his sort-of-daughter.

The receptionist lady was like 'I see what you are doing at night!'. :pepela: Shoulda add her to harem.

Every harem needs the secretly beautiful low-self-esteem glasses girl who thinks she's fat but really she's just got huge.... tracts of land and hips for days. no exceptions. It should be legally required for every harem.

Sure they do.

And yes, I am line-breaking words. Breaking words for the specific purpose of continuing a sentence in a new line. Using the same mechanism of the English language that allows for the waterproofing of fabrics. And during said breaking I use hyphenation to indicate the fragments around the break form a single word rather than two separate ones, preventing the reader from having to backtrack and reassemble the intended word and–by extension–meaning which would otherwise needlessly interrupt the flow of reading. Clear?

the other guy needs to chill
I don't need to do shit. These ain't just happy little accidents. KDT have been resistive to learning these basics for years. There's only so much patience in the world and I'm not in the habit of eternally tolerating, even condoning, sitting around with your thumbs up your asses when there are so overwhelmingly large amounts of reference material available literally at your fingertips that you'd have to go out of your way to not encounter it and maybe learn something for the day. (That's figuratively you; though, if you take it as literally you, then I can't help you and you probably deserved it anyway.)

Mistakes happen. Being a lazy, incorrigible cunt is a choice. And especially so in an established pipeline where material can well be expected to pass several pairs of eyes.

Go on, be cute and react some more with your little petulant dumbs and strikes rather than actual arguments. What are y'alls, five?
