To be fair Barrio acting like that is a change for the manga lol

As for Margaret being self aware of her face, I think one thing that makes this manga good is that none of the characters are dumb like in most shounen and isekai, they're pretty self aware of who they are, their flaws and so on, for the most part :v

Rain is probably best example of that, he might look like typical shouhen dumb but he's actually pretty smart, instead he's an actual clown who gets into peoppe nerves, many times on purpose lol
