Something I really don’t get is why they can’t just say they’re childhood friends, and that their family knows each other. It would explain their closeness. Idk laws in Japan around teachers and students who know each other, but like I feel like saying that would justify most of their time together if it became a real issue. Assuming someone didn’t see them doing anything to go against that.
