This is incel manga (that's not meant to be an insult). The whole point is that they are lucky. The prince is rich, powerful, young, rather fit for a prince, and the women were not killed like commoners. The women then have to juggle their material interest in those qualities with a material interest in not vomitting from getting too close to him. In this juggling is an exposee on the logic of women as projected onto them by our mangaka which is to serve as an analogy to women today. "Why won't this or that girl fuck me even though they're depressed and horny? How bad would it have to get for them to make that choice?" I didn't like Creature Girl Harem or whatever the title was because it was too overt when the author explicitly answered all of the problems posed for modern and fantasy women both in square-bubble narration text and through the story's characters.

So, a setup chapter. There's really not much to comment about here, we're just re-establishing everything we already knew except with additional world building that honestly nobody really cares about because it's deviating from the main purpose here which is an ugly stupid bastard and a goblin slayer goblin who evolved into being an intelligent goblin are playing with busty mommy figured girls in a death game about escalating sexual activities.

But it would be hilarious if the world building actually ends up becoming a serious thing and we deviate away from the original premise of the story... Which would be a really weird bait and switch. It's not what readers signed up for. I mean, Slave Harem in The Labyrinth of the Other World does pull the whole let's very slowly do a lot of world building. But it's at least still part of the main premise, the Labyrinth of the Other World. And it never deviates from how everything is the side quest to the main piece being seggs, lots and lots of seggs.

The prince being capable(at least in the context of this chapter's magic showcase) took me by surprise. I actually would expect him to be complete trash in all elements of life.
