Whuh-oh! The net is tightening but of course the hard part is gonna be what the hell super-cop is gonna do when they get to the whole "psychic power" thing. That is, if he even figures it out.
It’s too sloppy for Spica, I’m guessing she intentionally let him live after seeing something in his thoughts. Maybe a hint that she does have a hint of empathy within her
Spica
is sloppy though. I mean, we wouldn't really even have this police plot going if she hadn't confessed to that dying cop and left him a pen and paper. There's also moments like her totally turning her back on that taxi driver's wife that almost killed her, basically the entirety of the last chapter in the killer lodge, or hell, going all the way back to the start of the comic when she just tells the teacher that she's totally fine with it if he tells the cops that she shoved the one dude in front of a train. Spica is sloppy, so far though she's just been very very lucky.
I don't know whether that attitude is because she just kinda believes in a real broad kinda cosmic justice that she's just an agent of and that the chips will fall where they may, or if it's because she's still young and she just genuinely doesn't think to cover her tracks very well... Anyway, if/when this comic ends, I feel like it's not gonna be with her cackling like Light Yagami and trying to kill the cops first before she's caught, it'll be with her trying to talk her way out of getting arrested and if she can't, then shrugging and going to jail. Hell she might high-five the cop for actually doing the legwork and taking her in.
