Do japaneses actually go to an hospital for <= 39C fevers (and no breathing issues)?
I continue to be baffled on how a common cold is represented, almost always with a fever, that in post 14 years old people, fever is quite rare. Also common cold fever is mild (if not associated with other conditions), and mild means depending on the sources between 38.5 C and 38.8 C.
For correlation my father (post 60 years old) when got Covid had fever that arrived to 39,4 C (0.1 more or less). GP was called just to ask for a work related permit. Self medicated with a common fever reducer, that many families have in stock. (We do have a Sp02 saturimeter, bought during the pandemic, to see if the respiratory situation was degenerating or not, so at least we had a good indicator if situation would have warranted a better medical care)
