FWIW I think the word in the OG title, "hokuou"/北欧, does actually specifically refer to the Nordic countries, not Scandinavia. This seems more like just the translator not knowing the difference. The Japanese wiki page for the Nordic countries uses 北欧, while the Japanese wiki page for Scandinavia uses スカンディナヴィア.Ryti was first surname that came to my mind, dunno how it would read in japanese.
Also a bit of nitpicking, Finland isn't really scandinavian (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) but nordic (Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland).
