Snail appears a few times in this manga. I’m not sure what it’s about, though. Could it be because snails are associated with sloth or laziness?

Really cooked with the art of this one

Some small translation mistakes:

In page 2, the plural of human is definitely not "humen". Nice try, though.

On page 5, the fan club president says, referring to Arata, "you who affection them as a human", but that's not how you use the word affection, it is not a verb. Should be "show affection to them" or something similar, if it can't contextually be translated to "love them as a human".

Nothing huge, but you know, it does take you out of it a bit

Last chapter, Newspaper club president is telling him a story about the missing guy who could no longer control himself when he became obsessed with Hayami and ended up attacking them. As a result, Newspaper club prez (and the others) decided to maintain their self-control as a group by distancing themselves from Hayami as a person and revering them in a deity-like way instead to prevent anything like that happening again.

This chapter she concludes the story by warning Arata that he will inevitably befall a similar fate as he is also obsessed with Hayami in the same way. Arata has been aware of this to a degree already tbf, but the warning plays up on his mind in his sleep and he has a nightmare where he, as a beast, assaults Hayami.

The beast is obviously meant to be metaphorical loss of control/rationality and giving in to base desires (insert “all men are wolves” idiom here), but then again with this manga & mangaka, you never know.

Thanks for pointing these out, I'm not a native english speaker so I can't guarantee I won't make any more of those mistakes. I can only hope an English team will soon take this over cause I think it's a shame for english readers not to have a more appropriate translation (and it's taking me way too long to work on 2 languages).

@Kosumi.flr Re: Belphagor: I stumbled upon this by complete accident tonight, BUT:

I think "Belphegor's Quest" is a reference to this novella by Machiavelli, which is itself an adaptation of a medieval Slavic folktale in which the demon Belphagor tries to figure out why so many men in hell blame their wives for their downfalls. Belphagor tries getting married himself and...gets his ass back to hell as quickly as possible.

Seems fitting.
