I agree with all points which is a shame since it had a promising start, but I don't want to see this get axed. I think a step in the right direction would be better (e.g. actual plot movement)

The main thing about this series is the misunderstanding between Tsuruko and her teacher.... and that's literally all the misunderstanding this needs....
